Sofra
Sofra is a free Albanian merge game for your phone. Drop food onto grandma's table: when two of the same touch, they merge into a bigger dish, from an olive all the way to tavë kosi. Don't let the table overflow!
How to play
- Open hajdeluaj.com/sofra on your phone and tap LUAJ (play).
- Slide your finger left and right to choose where the food falls, then let go. You can also just tap where you want to drop it.
- When two of the same food touch, they merge into the next, bigger one and you score points.
- If a food sticks out above the line at the top for a few seconds, the table overflows and the game ends. You get your verdict, for example: "Shtrove sofër për 43 mysafirë" (you set a table for 43 guests). Every 40 points is one guest.
You only ever get the five smallest foods to drop: olive, cherry, plum, tomato and pepper. The next one is shown at the top left. The game is in Albanian, but you don't need to read it to play.

Two tavë kosi together make the full feast: they leave the table and free up room. Foods you have never made yet show as "?" at the bottom of the screen.

Tips
- Keep the big foods in one corner and the small ones on the other side.
- Check TJETRA (next) at the top left and plan where the following food will go.
- Don't let small foods get trapped under big ones: you will never reach them again.
Frequently asked questions
Is Sofra free?
Yes. It is free to play in your phone's browser, with no account and no download from the App Store or Google Play.
Do I need to speak Albanian to play?
No. The text and jokes are in Albanian, but the game only needs one finger: aim, let go, and match two of the same food.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After you open it once with an internet connection, the game is saved on your phone and opens without a connection, especially once you add Hajde Luaj to your home screen.
How do I add it to my home screen?
Tap SHTO NË EKRAN in the game. This adds the Hajde Luaj app, with all the games inside. On iPhone, in Safari tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Which devices does it work on?
iPhone and Android, in Safari, Chrome and Samsung Internet. On a computer, aim with the arrow keys and drop with the space bar, or use the mouse.
What is a sofra?
A sofra is the low round table where Albanian families traditionally eat together, often with grandma serving far more food than anyone can finish.
